Zimbabwe Irrigation Technology Centre (ZITC)
It is located at the Institute of Agricultural Engineering. This Branch acts as an information nerve Centre for the Department and offers the following services:
- Irrigation research
- Irrigation equipment testing
- Development of standards for irrigation equipment
- Provision of Training and advisory services to irrigation practitioners and farmers
- Information dissemination
- Irrigation technology development, adoption, adaptation and demonstration.
- Technical performance of irrigation systems.
- Upgrading of Demonstration sites and Technology Demonstration.

This Centre is located in Wedza District, Mashonaland East province. The centre is being established for Irrigation Technology demonstration.
