The Government of Zimbabwe adopted IPSAS as part of reforms to strengthen transparency, accountability, and credibility in public financial management. For the Ministry,one of the largest by scope and budget compliance is not just about meeting deadlines, but about ensuring efficient resource use, improved reporting, and greater trust from stakeholders.
Ministry of Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development has intensified efforts to accelerate the adoption of the International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS).
