Zimbabwe Irrigation Technology Centre (ZITC)

It is located at the Institute of Agricultural Engineering. This Branch acts as an information nerve Centre for the Department and offers the following services:

Irrigation research
Irrigation equipment testing
Development of standards for irrigation equipment
Provision of Training and advisory services to irrigation practitioners and farmers
Information dissemination
Irrigation technology development, adoption, adaptation and demonstration.
Technical performance of irrigation systems.
Upgrading of Demonstration sites and Technology Demonstration.

Fels Demonstration Centre.

This Centre is located in Wedza District, Mashonaland East province. The centre is being established for Irrigation Technology demonstration.
